Luca Arena’s latest photography series, ‘Á Means River | Ísland’, is a poetic and beautiful portrait of Iceland through the traces of human presence, unlike the usual capturing of its landscape. The Italian photographer traveled for 13 days and across 2,994 km to find ethereal moments to capture.

“I have tried to break the mirror and not depict Iceland as the land of rivers, volcanoes and endless glaciers, but photographing it in a sort of aseptic manner, so that, for once, we can get away from the explosion of nature and live in colors, giving voice to the island’s minority: man” said Arena.
