Japanese contemporary artist Yasuaki Onishi has used his used trademark glue, rope and crystallized urea in the creation of his latest work Vertical Emptiness (Volume of Strings) an immersive sculptural installation which forms part of In Search Of Critical Imagination exhibition at the Fukuoka Art Museum, Japan. The suspended ropes that comprise Vertical Emptiness forms a mesh bowl falling from the ceiling, on which Onishi drips hot glue.
