Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese wore a 3D-printed dress by designer Michael Schmidt and architect Francis Bitonti at the trendy Ace Hotel in New York. The black-lacquered dress is made of several rigid plastic parts fused together to create the netted structure. Despite von Teese looking completely naked underneath, the dress is draped over a nude silk corset and embellished with 12,000 Swarovski crystals.
