Single Fare is New York’s third annual display of underground art, with an exhibition of over one thousand works that have used the city’s famous MTA MetroCard as a canvas. Combining all the great elements of New York’s art scene – from the galleries in Chelsea and the up-and-coming Bushwick – founders Michael Kagan and Jean-Pierre Roy take Single Fare 3 to Manhattan’s RH Gallery on February 13. All MetroCards are for sale, with collectors offered the chance to get their favourites for $200 each in the first hour, after which, all cards will cost $100.
