Fall in Central Park
New York in Autumn, or ‘Fall’ as natives say it, is beauty personified, and where best to witness the changing of the seasons than in Central Park, the expanse of green amongst a bustling concrete metropolis. It is the quiet, serene area that is a world away from its surroundings. Filmmaker Jamie Scott thought so too and took six months of his life capturing it to create the gorgeous time-lapse film, Fall.
The video captures the park as it changes through the seasons – green to orange to red and then the bare winter. Setting camp in 15 locations around the park Scott got up at the crack of dawn and filmed each location just after sunrise – the result is life passing by in all its natural technicolour.
