‘For The Remainder’ is a short animated film by Omer Ben David as his graduation project from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Israel. The beautifully crafted, atmospheric piece that tells the story of an old house cat who bids farewell to his home, his owner and the world he used to know. Using a 3-D painterly look and rough brush strokes that mix seamlessly with clean design; Ben David’s techniques have enabled him to create a vague, mysterious and utterly compelling tale.
