Minimalist Swedish furniture brand IKEA recently launched a temporary apartment, “The IKEA Apartment – 54 Square-Meter Ideas to Life,” in a Parisian subway station Auber. Located in one of France’s busiest metro stations, IKEA and creative agency Ubi Bene created a temporary flat for five people, Jane, Audrey, Anis, Lucy and Benjamin to live in over the course of six days. Commuters were able to watch the housemates in action whilst viewing the function of the brand’s furniture within the space.
