Daisy Lowe, a smartphone and a revealing film
Fashion Week has well and truly landed in London and there is a wealth of free drink scoffing parties to go to. We took a trip along to one of those at East London’s Callooh Callay for an event to celebrate the launch of a new smartphone, the Xperia™ ray from Sony Ericsson and their short film series, Xperia™ Unseen. Timing their event to perfection to get the cool crowd ahead of London Fashion Week, meant that all the fashion / muso crowd could come down and get set for the deluge of parties coming over the weekend.
Recently seen leaving very little to the imagination in Playboy, Daisy Lowe took to the decks to provide the soundtrack to the night, along with “It Girl” Lady Mary Charteris and fashion designer, Nova Dando. I have to say that Charteris seemed to only be flicking her perfectly groomed blonde hair, if that is how you mix these days, then I must have been doing it wrong all these years! Luckily she had boyfriend, Big Pink’s Robbie Furze (Robertson) on hand to help her tune select and mix.
Other faces seen at the event included Ronnie Wood’s latest young squeeze Ana Araujo, who was recently overheard at a photoshoot saying “I have a rich, famous boyfriend and a model, of course I am happy”, hmmm… nice to see it is Wood’s personality she is after! Alice Dellal, Kaiser Chiefs lead singer Rickie Wilson, amazing designer Pam Hogg, actresses Anna Popplewell and Michelle Ryan as well as local party lover Mr Hudson all enjoying a selection of cocktails at the event co-hosted by Vice Magazine’s VICE.COM.
Xperia™ Unseen films give consumers a glimpse into the world of celebrity life through the lens of a mobile phone, Daisy Lowe takes you around her beloved Primrose Hill, seeing her mate for a coffee and a natter and talking about her dog, wow riveting! Well I guess if you are a Heat or Grazia reader this is ideal for you. Xperia™ Unseen will run in three segments over the course of one month. The first episode of the series will premiere on 14th September on Sony Ericsson’s Facebook page and VICE.com, with part two following on 28th September and part three on 12th October.
