In a spectacular show, the “action painter” artist Jean-Pierre Blanchard painted a portrait of Roger Federer without any model or reference to look at in four minutes. With a striking resemblance to the Swiss tennis star, the artist bounds around with a leap that defies his age as he splashes paint to canvas.

Blanchard produced this masterful speed work at the presentation of the SVC Entrepreneur Award in Zurich. The painting was auctioned for charity, with the highest bid made by Ernst & Young Zurich.
