Lindsay Lohan a Richard Phillips film

Lindsay Lohan has had one hell of a past, from child Disney actress to a host of girlie flicks and then to battles with booze, drugs and a string of failed relationships, male and female.

Now shot in a short film by Richard Phillips and surf filmmaker Taylor Steele, simply titled “Lindsay Lohan”, the 98 second piece was filmed in Malibu, California with Lindsay on house arrest and is set to be premiered at Venice Biennale next week. Phillips films Lohan in several dramatic images, edited together in an exhilarating, romantic and erotic way that shows his affection for the subject and the mystery that surrounds the actor / society scene darling.

Richard Phillips’ Lindsay Lohan will be included in “Commercial Break,” presented by the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture, Venice, Italy, June 1 – 5, 2011, concurrent with the 54th international exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
