Zack Herrera’s ‘Stripland Nights’ sees Los Angeles under street lamps
Los Angeles photographer Zack Herrera, has shot his local surroundings at night in his latest project, ‘Stripland Nights’, creating a beautifully engaging look at the busy city at sleep and under the captivating light that illuminates the subjects by the street lamps.
‘Stripland Nights’ is a personal excavation of Herrera’s city; a series of photographs that extract a particular type of landscape still struggling to grab our attention. A visual resusciatation, of sorts, takes place oi nto the night, allowing these seemingly outmoded spaces, to once again seduce the passserby.
