Beyoncé’s new video ‘Run The World (Girls)’
The antcipation has been huge for Beyoncé’s new single video and here it is… See my old post eagerly waiting for it here.
Some extracts from it here -
Now the ‘I’m a survivor’ inside Miss Knowles is back with a fierce empowering women dub infused single, ‘Run the World (Girls)’. Beyoncé has shown recently with collaborations with Lady Gaga and forthcoming Rihanna single on the way, that she is eager to evolve her music in a modern-day Madonna-esque style. This latest offering from the ex-Destiny’s Child lead has sampled the trendy Major Lazer’s ‘Pon da Floor’ track for that added club banger feel. Major Lazer themselves find it difficult to explain their sound with one half of the producer duo, Diplo, saying their music sounds like “digital reggae and dancehall from Mars in the future!” – hmmm ok mate!
The video for the single is directed by Francis Lawrence, the man behind Lady Gaga‘s ‘Bad Romance’ video who is promising one hell of a spectacle – “It’ll be big, it’ll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done… and, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable.”
